Step into the madhouse that is my mind...
Dream-walking
This poem is about losing track of the time by living through repetitive days. It is about getting lost inside your own head, going deeper and deeper into the dark unknown where our greatest fears and hopes live.
Masks of Illusion
This poem is about the masks we put on with different people and in different situations. It is also about the risk of losing yourself through those masks; trough those different personalities and identities we create to "protect" our true self.
Cheese
To me, fireflies symbolise wishes, dreams, hope, the light in the dark, and the glimpse of that flickering positivity that promises a bright new future. They are magical.
Sheogorath's cheeses and the fireflies in Sanguine's Misty Grove are somehow linked to each other in my mind. Perhaps I see these two Daedric Princes as governing over overlapping areas of our brains, evoking different kinds of madness - both fun, but dark in their essence.
The Journey
This poem depicts a journey to the very center of yourself and to the origin of the universe; going inwards, while at the same time expanding yourself beyond yourself and what you can perceive with your human senses. It is a journey backwards that also projects forward. It is about opening up your mind, shedding every imprint society has made on you. It is a journey of purification. It is a journey of knowledge. It is a journey of enlightenment. It is about giving yourself to the universe while still retaining your true self. It is about letting it all flow, sharing the flow, moving with the flow, revelling in the flow... without end... without restraint.

My translation of the message spelled out in reverse: Maro, the hero of sweet wine, became strong because he heard and expressed the altar music of the Goddess of Grain and Fruit.

This poem is about the ecstasy and intoxication a revelation can bring.
The Masters
This poem is about the myth of the tortured artist. Whether the suffering has been manifested physically or only in the mind of the artist, it has undoubtedly a great affect on how and what we create. Christopher Zara has an interesting blog entry about this topic. Read his entry here.
Mashed Potatoes
Just three silly poems inspired by a fall (and possibly smashed toes). When I read these poems I imagine the Hatter, the Marsh Hare and the Chesire Cat exchanging witty comments over a cup of tea.
Gibberish/Mad Proverbs
I imagine these proverbs to be something Sheogorath would come up with.
The Madness in this World
This poem is inspired by the terror attack that took place in Åbo/Turku, Finland on the 18th of August 2017.
